If you are starting from scratch and worried you have missed the bus or that it is too technical, relax. I am Rajesh Menon, and I have run Digital Market Academy since 2010. Most of our students walked in as complete beginners, from all kinds of backgrounds, and left job-ready. Digital marketing is one of the most beginner-friendly skills to pick up, if you learn it hands-on. Here is exactly how a beginner should start and what to expect.
TL;DR
- You do not need any background or a marketing degree to start. Beginners are welcome.
- Digital marketing is beginner-friendly when learned hands-on, not from theory alone.
- At DMA you start from the fundamentals in a small batch, capped at 6.
- You learn real tools: Google Ads, Meta, GA4, Canva and Figma, from day one.
- Fee is ₹35,400 all-inclusive, in 2 to 3 installments; new batches every 15 days.
- You get 100% placement assistance; beginners typically start at ₹3.6 to 6.2 LPA.

Can a complete beginner really learn digital marketing?
Yes, and honestly it is one of the best fields for a fresh start. You do not need a marketing degree, a technical background or coding. What you need is the willingness to practise. We have trained beginners from commerce, science, arts, homemaking and completely unrelated jobs, and the ones who did the work got placed. The trick is to learn by doing from the very beginning, so the tools stop feeling scary within the first few sessions.
How a beginner should start
You do not need to know everything on day one. A good beginner path builds up in order, so nothing feels overwhelming.
What you will learn
The course covers the whole picture, one piece at a time: SEO, Google Ads, Meta ads, social media, content, email and Google Analytics 4, plus design tools like Canva and Figma and modern AI tools, because that is what the job needs now. You learn each on the real platform, guided by the trainer, so by the end you are not just aware of these tools, you can actually use them. See the full course syllabus for the complete list.
Small batches, so your doubts get answered
Beginners have the most questions, which is exactly why batch size matters most for you. We cap every batch at a maximum of 6 students, so the trainer can slow down, explain again, and make sure no one is left behind. New batches start every 15 days, so you can begin soon.
Placement support and outcomes
Being a beginner does not change the support you get: 100% placement assistance, a resume in two versions (an ATS-clean one and a polished professional one), mock interviews, and practice in the DMA Student Portal app. DMA students, including those who started from zero, typically get placed in the ₹3.6 to 6.2 LPA range across startups, MSMEs and sometimes MNCs, and we are rated around 4.9. A few real journeys:
- Vinod A, B.Tech to digital marketing executive.
- Santhoshi Rekha, career break to placed.
- Krithik Shankar, MBA to SEO executive.
Fees and how they are paid
No surprises: the fee is ₹35,400 total, all-inclusive, payable in 2 or 3 installments, with no hidden registration or material charges. See the full fee breakdown and the course ROI to see how quickly a beginner can recover the fee once placed.
Why our students keep referring us: the flywheel
The reason beginners do well with us is a simple loop: we teach hands-on in small batches, students get placed, they succeed and refer friends and leave reviews, and that fills the next batch. Real outcomes, not ads, keep it turning.
