Free Meta Ad Copy Generator
for Facebook & Instagram
Describe your product, audience and goal. Get complete ad copy sets — primary text, headline, description and CTA — written to three proven frameworks: Hook → Problem → Solution, Social Proof and Question Hook. Everything is generated inside your browser and stays within Meta's character limits.
Generate Your Ad Copy
Fill in the four fields below. The more specific you are, the more useful the output will be.
Ad Name, Body, Title, Link Description, Call to Action)
with the structural columns left blank. It is a column pack to paste in, not a file that imports on its own —
Meta also requires your Page ID, destination link, creative and campaign structure, and the required columns change
with your objective. Download your current template from Ads Manager → Import/Export → Import Ads in Bulk,
then paste these columns into it.
How to Use This Tool
Four inputs, three ready-to-use ad copy sets. The whole thing takes under two minutes.
Describe your product
Enter your product or service name and the one benefit that sets it apart. Be specific — "hands-on training with live campaigns" works better than "great course".
Define your audience
Name the exact people you are targeting. The more specific the audience description, the more direct the copy. "Working professionals in Bangalore" is better than "people in India".
Say where the click goes
Website, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram DM, a phone call or an instant form. This is Meta's conversion location and it is the single most important setting here — it decides which CTA button you can use and what the closing line can honestly promise. A click-to-WhatsApp ad must never end with "see the details at the link".
Pick objective, tone and format
Choose what the ad should do, a tone that matches your brand, and whether the creative is an image, a video or a carousel. Video changes the advice, because most people watch on mute and the primary text has to carry the message alone.
Copy, check and test
Every field is editable and the counters update live. Copy each field with one click, or download the bulk-import columns. The copy you take away carries its own warnings — character limits, whether your benefit survives the "See more" fold, and any Meta policy flags.
What Makes Meta Ad Copy Work
Three principles that separate ads people scroll past from ads people click.
Front-load the hook
Only the first 125 characters of primary text show before the See More cutoff on mobile. Make sure those first 125 characters either deliver the message completely or create enough curiosity to make someone tap to read more. Start with the audience, a problem or a bold claim — not with your brand name.
Match the headline to the landing page
The headline is often the last thing someone reads before deciding to click. It should match what they will see when they land. If your headline says "Free Google Ads Training" and the landing page talks about a paid course, trust drops immediately and conversion rates suffer. Keep the promise consistent end to end.
Test structure, not just words
Changing "amazing" to "great" is not a real test. Testing a question-led hook against a benefit-led statement is. The three variations this tool generates use different structural approaches — problem to solution, audience-first direct address and benefit-led punchy copy. These give you genuinely different angles to learn from.

Why Most Meta Ad Copy Falls Flat
Most advertisers write the same ad copy they would use on Google — keyword-heavy, feature-focused and built for people who are actively searching. Meta is a different medium. People are not searching for anything when they see your ad. They are mid-scroll, half-distracted, looking at photos of their friends. Your copy has about two seconds to give them a reason to stop.
Rajesh Menon built this tool to help advertisers think differently about Meta copy — starting with the audience, leading with a real benefit and writing for the format rather than against it.
